MONEY.. INDEED THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

I don't have an argument with this topic. i was just thinking of why everybody (well almost) wants to either study/work abroad. well it really does not matter, they just want to be there somehow. I’ll just get the obvious thing out of the way in the beginning.. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY! everyone knows that if all the educated and brilliant people would have stayed in India, we would have been at least 10 years ahead by now.. but frankly speaking its never about the growth of a nation/it becoming a super power.. isn’t it? its all about an individual.. we'll just take an example as we all tend to understand better that way.. Suppose this Guy kartik has worked hard for 21 years to become an excellent aero space engineer who holds a lot of promise in his field. and finally he's at a place in his life where he can earn dough.. but he's not satisfied right? Nobody is.. but that’s a different story altogether.. Now consider that he has 2/3 choices. he can join in as a research assistant in vikram sarabai space centre/ ISRO or he can fly and join NASA (no inspirations from swades.. just coincidence) what does he do? What will you do in his situation? its not a problem with his career. both ways he'll end up great. but what about the money? should he think of his country and what if he brings a great name/ probably a Nobel prize ( i know i'm exaggerating.. but still) or should he just think about himself? its really easy to talk like a patriot.. its difficult to be one. Here's the catch. What if ISRO agrees to pay him as much as NASA. then i'm sure you would want him to think of his country right? Leaving this example apart, think of all those people who just go to the US and are ready to drive CABS.. well they definitely get to lead a very comfortable life with that there.. will they do that here in India. never! because of 2 reasons... 1. No dignity of labor 2. They don't get paid enough if they do that here. well.. if you have a closer look at it... its actually its only one. MONEY. if an sweeper/petrol filler would get a reasonable amount of money.. like a 7/8k per month, i think people will start looking at him with respect. well nobody would mind to do that job just to earn some extra money. there comes your dignity of labor. The bottom line is that almost everyone is underpaid in our country. if they bring in a minimum and maximum hourly pay.. which is of course good money.. then may be nobody will want to go anywhere. obviously this needs a lot of thinking and analysis and its a huge step. but only revolutionary steps make a difference.
